A little about me

I help homeowners understand what a warranty plan can and can't do, long before anything breaks.

Why I started doing this

I got into this work after watching neighbors scramble when a furnace quit on a cold night or a fridge gave out with a full week of groceries inside. Most of them had no idea where to start, and the stress came less from the repair than from all the guessing.

So I set up VitaHouses to do one thing well. I walk you through home warranty plans in plain words, show you what each one lists, and stay with you when a covered item needs attention.

I'm not here to push a plan on anyone. If one doesn't suit your home, I'll tell you that too.

What I hold to

A few habits shape every conversation I have with a homeowner.

Plain

Plain words first

I explain each plan the way I'd explain it to a friend at the kitchen table, with no fine print fog.

Honest

Straight answers

If a repair is likely to fall outside a plan, I say so before you start counting on it.

Steady

Still here after signup

When something stops working, you message me and I help you get the request moving.

How a service request moves

Four plain steps, from the first odd noise to a covered repair.

Explore

Find what fits your home

Look over the plans and pick the one that lists the items you lean on most.

Request

Say what went wrong

Send me a service request with what you noticed. A short note is enough to start.

Match

Meet a local pro

I'll get you matched with a qualified technician near you who comes out to take a look.

Repair

Get the covered fix

If the issue qualifies, the item gets repaired, or replaced when a repair won't do.

Who I help

Every house runs on the same quiet machines, but every owner has a different reason to want a backup plan. These are the people I hear from most.

  • First time ownersLearning what each system in the house does and what it might cost to fix.
  • Busy householdsFamilies whose washer, oven and dishwasher run from breakfast to bedtime.
  • Owners of older homesPlaces where the furnace and water heater already have a few winters behind them.
  • LandlordsOwners keeping rentals comfortable so a tenant's broken appliance doesn't become a crisis.
  • Anyone who hates guessingPeople who simply want a clear next step the moment something quits.

Tell me a little about the systems and appliances you rely on, and I'll help you find a plan that names them.
